\nI hardly had any difficulties this quarter. However, like most students have already mentioned, the Lewis and Clark Project probably gotten to me the most. The fact that I was chosen leader, against my will, mad everything harder since I had to monitor my teammates' work. I ended up doing most of the work. The journals were just as difficult to complete since I had to put myself in one of the Corp members' shoes. Another difficulty was the documentaries we had to do. Sometimes the narrator would speak too fast, I could hardly keep up. Although the expectations in this class are high at times, it is one of the classes I look forward to attending each day. MR. TRAN makes the class all the better.

\nAs I have mentioned in my first quarter reflection, the documentary and movie lessons were helpful in understanding the course content. The documentaries painted a better picture of events in certain chapters than our textbooks which sometimes did not include. I prefer watching them then trying to follow the textbook word by word. I almost forgot to include the video quizzes. They most deinitely prepared me for the chapter quizzes the next day. Basically, I tend to remember the information more as a visual learner.

\nThis is my favorite class in general, so I cannot pick my favorite aspects of this class. Since I probably have to, I really enjoyed the music that MR. TRAN plays as we work on notes or something. I also enjoyed movie lessons because MR. TRAN would make the room have the movie theatre feeling to it except with popcorn. Might I mention, I have U.S. History for first period which has its advantages and a litte disadvantages. We get the most lab time and etc. However, since we are MR. TRAN's first period, we have to work really hard and finish everything the night before since we do have time to make it up like some students in his other periods. Honestly, I wish this class was longer because we usually have to leave when the good part comes. MR. \nI had recently seen the gradual improvement my daughter have been making through the past trimesters and I am happy to say that she is doing well in your class. I would like to thank you for teaching my daughter and also making her life a bit more easier by introducing wikispaces. \nI probably had some difficulties when it came to doing notes because I would sometimes put it off the last minute and I would forget to double check it. Another difficulty was keeping on task and focusing on my own work. Also at times, I would forget when certain assignments were due, but I still finish it.

\nThe documentary and movie lessons helped me understand the key events more clearly. Those documentaries and movies have details that sometimes are not included in the textbook. It also gives me a pretty good sense of what is going on unlike text alone. Notes have also been a big help by allowing information to sink in my head longer and I could always turn back to it for future references when I need it.

\nAs most students would say, I enjoyed the movie lessons a lot. They were interesting to watch and they basically being historical people, places, and events back to life whereas it seems as if I was there when it happened. \nIn the beginning of the school year, I was a bit scared about my daughter not passing because it is the start and because of summer vacation have been making my daughter slack off. However, after seeing that she had passed your class with an "A", I could see that you have been teaching well. Now, I would not have to worry about her grades as much because I know you are teaching her good techniques and that you are a well experienced teacher. Thank you for taking your time for teaching.
